Eira Systems AB ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This page describes what we collect on eirasystems.com and why. We do not sell personal data and do not use third-party advertising trackers.
What we collect
Contact form: name, email and message. Job applications are sent by email from your own email app and are not stored on this site. Page visits, only if you click Accept: a random identifier stored in your browser, the page visited, the language and the referring page. Your language choice (eira-locale) and your cookie choice (eira-cookie-consent) are also stored in your browser; the site needs them to work, so they are stored without consent.
Why we collect it
Contact data is used only to respond to your inquiry and to manage commercial, technical or partnership discussions. Application data is used only to assess your application. Visit counts help us understand which pages are useful. Giving us your details is voluntary, but without a name and email we cannot answer you or assess an application. We make no automated decisions and do no profiling.
Legal basis
Contact data: our legitimate interest in answering inquiries and operating the business (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Job applications: steps taken at your request before entering an employment contract (Article 6(1)(b)). Visit counting: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)).
Who handles the data
Service providers handle the data on our behalf: Supabase via Lovable Cloud (database) and Cloudflare (hosting). Some are based in the United States. Such transfers rely on the safeguards in Chapter V of the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Ask us for a copy of the safeguards.
Retention
We keep contact inquiries and visit records for at most 12 months and then delete them. Application emails are deleted from the inbox within 12 months. You may request deletion at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You can withdraw your consent to visit counting at any time with the button below; this does not affect counting done before. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY, imy.se). To exercise your rights, contact dag.bergsjo@eirasystems.com.
